Accessibility

CentreBloom is used every day by directors, educators and families with a wide range of abilities, on phones, tablets and desktops. We want the platform to be usable by as many people as possible, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we build.

Our goal

We aim to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as our working standard. These guidelines cover making content perceivable, operable, understandable and robust for people with disabilities.

What we do

As part of building and improving CentreBloom, we work toward:

• • Readable colour contrast and clear, consistent typography.
• • Keyboard-operable navigation and interactive controls.
• • Labels and descriptive text so assistive technologies can interpret the interface.
• • Responsive layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and desktops.
• • Support for your device's light and dark display settings.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is never “done.” As we add features we review them for accessibility, and we fix issues as we find them or as they are reported to us. Some areas may not yet fully meet our target, and we welcome feedback that helps us prioritize.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier in CentreBloom, please tell us — it genuinely helps. Reach out through our contact page and, where you can, include the page or feature, the device and browser you were using, and what you were trying to do. We'll do our best to respond promptly and to find a workable solution.
