The fine print, up front
What counts as an “active student”?
A child with an Active status in CentreBloom. Children you set to Paused, Waitlisted, Withdrawn or Graduated do NOT count toward your tier, so seasonal dips lower your bill automatically.
Are there card / online-payment transaction charges?
Card payments run through your own Stripe account at Stripe's standard published rates (in Canada, typically 2.9% + C$0.30 per transaction). CentreBloom adds no markup and takes no cut of your tuition.
Any SMS charges?
In-app and email reminders are included. Optional SMS reminders use your own Twilio account at Twilio's per-message rate; CentreBloom adds no markup. SMS is off unless you enable it.
Onboarding and data import?
Free. Import your roster from a spreadsheet (or a Brightwheel / Lillio / Storypark export) with the built-in importer. If your export is messy, we'll help you map it at no charge.
Multi-location pricing?
Each centre is its own plan at the price for that centre's active-child count. Running several sites? Contact us for consolidated group billing.
Cancellation terms?
Monthly plans cancel anytime — no lock-in, no cancellation fee; access runs to the end of the paid month. Annual plans are paid upfront for 12 months. Your data stays exportable while your account is active.
What happens after the free trial?
You get a 7-day free trial with the full platform — no card required. When it ends, pick monthly or annual to keep going. Your data is preserved; nothing is deleted when a trial lapses.
