Terms of Service
Last updated: July 24, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of CentreBloom (the “Service”), operated by CentreBloom, based in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a childcare centre or organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
The Service
CentreBloom is an all-in-one management platform for childcare and early learning programs, including enrolment, attendance, billing, payroll, staff scheduling, family communication, learning documentation and record-keeping. We may add, change or remove features over time to improve the Service.
Accounts & responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, to use the Service only for lawful purposes, and to comply with the licensing, privacy and employment obligations that apply to your centre. Administrators are responsible for the accounts and access they grant to staff and families.
Your data
Your centre owns the information it enters into CentreBloom, including child, family and staff records. We process that information on your behalf to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the appropriate consents to enter and use that information.
Payments & subscriptions
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) and renew automatically until cancelled. Subscription payments and tuition payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated. You can manage or cancel your subscription from within the Service, subject to the terms of your plan.
Payroll and tax calculations
CentreBloom's payroll tools help you calculate pay, deductions and prepare records, but the Service is not a certified tax-calculation or accounting service and does not provide legal, tax or accounting advice. You are responsible for verifying amounts against current Canada Revenue Agency figures and for your remittance, filing and record-keeping obligations. We recommend working with a qualified accountant or bookkeeper.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, uploading unlawful or harmful content, or using it to violate the rights of others. We may suspend accounts that put the Service or other users at risk.
Availability & warranties
We work hard to keep the Service reliable and secure, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CentreBloom will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached or as needed to protect the Service. On termination, your centre may request an export of its data, subject to reasonable timeframes and legal record-keeping requirements.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify account administrators. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
