The Explorer Academy is an after-school education program located in Delta, British Columbia. The academy needed a more affordable and flexible management system for student registration, family communication, staff attendance and payroll. The challenge
The academy needed a system that could make everyday administrative work easier — managing student registrations, sending class reminders directly to parents’ phones, tracking teacher check-ins, simplifying payroll, reducing software costs, and bringing more features into one platform. With its previous tool, it could not send reminders directly to parents by SMS the way it needed.

Payroll calculations are generated automatically from teacher check-ins. This connects attendance data with staff payroll records, so instead of separately recording hours and then preparing payroll, the academy uses check-in data already captured in the system.
