Childcare management software for Quebec centres
CentreBloom gives Quebec CPEs and garderies one Canadian-built platform for attendance and ratios, billing and fee tracking, waitlists and enrolment, and family communication — with children's and families' data hosted in Canada. Two honest notes up front: Quebec payroll (QPP, QPIP and Revenu Québec deductions) is not supported today, and the interface is currently in English.

What Quebec centres get
- Attendance & child:educator ratio tracking
- Enrolment, waitlists & demos
- Billing, invoices, fee tracking & online payments
- Family communication & daily feed
- Data hosted in Canada
- Multi-location management
Records that support subsidized (and non-subsidized) care
Many Quebec families use subsidized (reduced-contribution) places at a CPE or garderie subventionnée — the reduced daily contribution is set by the Ministère de la Famille (rising to $9.65/day in 2026). Others use non-subsidized garderies and claim the provincial refundable tax credit for childcare expenses. CentreBloom does not manage the reduced-contribution agreement, connect to the La Place 0-5 admission portal, or file anything with the Ministère de la Famille.
What it does is keep the underlying records tidy and in one place — who's enrolled, who attended each day, and the parent contribution charged and collected — so your day-to-day operations and reconciliation are quicker.
- Exportable per-child daily attendance history
- Parent contribution charged and payments received, per family
- Enrolment, status and start/withdrawal dates in one roster
Attendance & ratios
Track who's present and keep safe child-to-educator ratios every day. CentreBloom's check-in (staff, or a kiosk families use with a code/QR) records exact in/out times in your local timezone, shows a live ratio indicator, and exports attendance for any date range — useful for daily operations and record-keeping.
Billing & fees
Invoice families, take card payments online, set up recurring auto-pay, and send receipts and reminders automatically (in-app, email and optional SMS). Note: CentreBloom does not produce Quebec RL-24 childcare receipts for the tax credit — those come from your usual Quebec process — but it keeps a clear record of the fees charged and paid.
Payroll — an honest limitation
CentreBloom's built-in payroll uses the federal CRA model and covers every province except Quebec. Quebec payroll is different — QPP instead of CPP, QPIP premiums, Quebec provincial tax deducted through Revenu Québec, and RL-1 slips — and CentreBloom does not calculate or file these. If you operate in Quebec, plan to run payroll through a Quebec-capable payroll service or your accountant. Everything else in CentreBloom still works for your centre.
Enrolment & waitlists
Capture demo/trial requests, run your own waitlist, and convert a family to an enrolled child in a couple of clicks. (CentreBloom's waitlist is your internal list; it does not connect to the provincial La Place 0-5 portal.)
Your families' data stays in Canada
Children's and families' records are hosted on Canadian infrastructure (see our sub-processors for the full picture) — a clear answer for Quebec families and a fit with Quebec's strong privacy expectations.
One centre or many
Run a single installation or several under one login, each with its own children, staff, rooms and billing.
Frequently asked questions
Does CentreBloom handle Quebec payroll?
No. Its built-in payroll covers every province except Quebec. Quebec uses QPP, QPIP, Revenu Québec provincial tax and RL-1 slips, which CentreBloom does not calculate or file — run Quebec payroll through a Quebec-capable service or your accountant.
Is the app available in French?
The interface is currently in English. If French is essential for your team and families, let us know when you book a demo so we can be upfront about fit.
Does it produce RL-24 receipts or connect to La Place 0-5?
No. CentreBloom keeps your enrolment, attendance and fee records, but it does not generate Quebec RL-24 childcare receipts or integrate with the La Place 0-5 admission portal.
Where is our data stored?
The primary database and customer records are hosted in Canada. Some supporting services (e.g. payments, email, SMS) process limited information through sub-processors, some outside Canada — see our Sub-processors page.
Sources
Factual claims on this page trace back to the sources below. Government programmes and vendor products both change — check the current details at the source before relying on them.
The reduced daily contribution, the tax credit for childcare expenses and the La Place 0-5 admission process are Quebec government programmes that change; they are summarised here for context, not as advice. Two CentreBloom limits are stated plainly on this page and worth repeating: Quebec payroll (QPP, QPIP and Revenu Québec filings) is not supported, and CentreBloom does not produce RL-24 receipts or connect to La Place 0-5.
